Capstone Project Statement of Intent

My capstone topic is career indecision/career decision-making. The focus of it is on our "Path College and Career" class at RCHS. It is unclear what the end-product will be.
a) I don't really have any specific goals for my project, beyond simply getting it done and getting a decent grade on it. I don't know yet what the end-product will be, so it would be very difficult to set goals right now.
b) My project is important because I felt that the Path College and Career class was lacking, and I know that at least some of my peers agree with me. Until Path College and Career classes become useful to the students, they will remain - all things said and done - a waste of a year's worth of class-time.
c) My project does not fit in with my career objectives whatsoever. This is primarily because I remain undecided. I intend to go into some sort of Biology or Engineering, but I don't know which field, nor do I know which specific type of Biology or Engineering (except that it won't be human-related Biology and it definitely will not be Chemical Engineering). I won't be able to decide which field until I have the opportunity to get practical experience in Engineering: hopefully through an internship. So that decision is at a stalemate until the summer of 2016, at the very earliest.
d) My project definitely will not give back to society at large. Depending on my end-product, it might give back to RCHS in the form of a new curriculum for Path College and Career. At the very least, it will establish that there is a significant problem with the Path College and Career curriculum.
